Terms of Service
Last updated
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Relation Grid website (the "Service"). Relation Grid is a public reference that maps the third-party subprocessors a company shares data with. By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
Who can use the Service
The Service is a public reference open to everyone — no account or sign-in is required. It is intended for a general adult and professional audience. By using it, you confirm that you are able to form a binding agreement under these Terms and that you will use the Service in compliance with these Terms and all applicable laws. If you use the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you are authorized to accept these Terms for that organization.
The data — accuracy and reliance
Relation Grid compiles information about companies and their subprocessors largely from third-party sources, such as public subprocessor and data-processing pages, and extracts and resolves that information using automated tools. The data is provided "as is" and "as available".
We make no warranty that the information is accurate, complete, current, or fit for any particular purpose. Source pages change, extraction is imperfect, and entries may be incomplete, outdated, or wrong.
The Service is not legal, compliance, financial, or professional advice and must not be treated as a substitute for it. Do not rely on the data for compliance, due-diligence, contractual, or other decisions without independently verifying it against the primary source. You are solely responsible for any decision you make based on the Service.
Acceptable use
You may use the Service for normal personal and business reference — looking up companies, reading their subprocessor relationships, and citing or sharing individual findings with attribution. To keep the Service available and trustworthy for everyone, you agree not to:
- Use automated means — bots, crawlers, scrapers, or similar — to access, harvest, or index the Service or its data, except for search-engine crawlers acting in line with our published rules.
- Bulk-download, extract, copy, or systematically collect the data or any substantial part of the dataset.
- Resell, redistribute, sublicense, or otherwise commercialize Relation Grid's content or dataset as your own product or service.
- Reverse engineer, scrape around, or circumvent any access controls, rate limits, or security measures of the Service.
- Overload, disrupt, or impair the Service or the infrastructure it runs on, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to it.
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose, to infringe others' rights, or to harass, defame, or harm any person or company.
- Misrepresent the data's provenance, or present Relation Grid's content as your own.
If you would like to license bulk access to the data, contact us rather than scraping it.
Intellectual property
The selection, arrangement, and presentation of the data, together with the Relation Grid name, logo, design, and software, are owned by Relation Grid and protected by intellectual-property laws. The underlying facts about third-party companies are not ours to own and remain attributable to their respective sources and owners. Company names, logos, and trademarks referenced in the Service belong to their respective owners and are used for identification only; their appearance does not imply any affiliation or endorsement.
Third-party content and links
The Service links to and references external pages and third-party websites, including the source pages it draws data from. We do not control that content and are not responsible for it. Accessing third-party sites is at your own risk and subject to their terms.
Changes to the Service
The Service is provided on an evolving basis. We may add, change, suspend, or discontinue any part of it — including specific data, features, or availability — at any time and without notice. We are not liable to you for any such change.
Disclaimer of warranties
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, error-free, or that any information it contains is accurate or current.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Relation Grid and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses, arising out of or related to your use of — or inability to use — the Service or its data, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Your sole remedy if you are dissatisfied with the Service is to stop using it.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Relation Grid and its operators from any claims, liabilities, damages, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any law or the rights of any third party.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time as the Service or the law changes. When we do, we will revise the "last updated" date at the top of this page. Material changes will be made clear on this page. Continuing to use the Service after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
